This week was spent both recovering a bit from a big mileage weekend last week and getting ready for the Rock n Roll Arizona Half.

Mon: Off.

Tues: Unofficial recovery run: 2 miles in 19:59. Avg HR154, Max HR 167. My hips are a bit tight when I’m not running, but fine when I am.

Wed: off

Thurs: Another 2 miles on the treadmill, this time at a 7:21 pace. Avg HR 172, Max HR 184. Roller derby practice in the evening.

Fri: off

Sat: 3.1 miles with Mom in AZ. We took walk breaks; covered the distance in 37:12 (~12 mm). Avg HR 121, Max HR 146 when I did some strides at the end.

Sun: RnR AZ Half Marathon! 1:38:44, setting a 3 minute PR. Avg HR 176 Max HR 188.
