Not the same Boston Marathon

So it was announced today that the Boston course will change slightly near the end, AND there will be a wave start, 12 noon and 12:30.

So it’s got to be asked. So often people question the noon start, and it’s always been met with “this is tradition. this is how it’s always been”. So…. this year is breaking with tradition. Why make it later?? Why not move it up a few hours? :-/
