VO2 max 8 mi w/ 5 x 600 m @ 5K race pace (7:04); jog 90 sec between

So..

12 laps warm-up @ 2:14
5x (1.5 laps @ 2:36, 1 lap @ 2:14)
9 laps cooldown @ 2:14

I almost wonder if my rest periods are simply too long, but I don’t know if I want to mess around with it anymore.
